The area has excellent communications with every type of service : casinos, sports facilities, shopping centres, restaurants, discotheques etc. – to suit all tastes.
Just a 10 minutes walk from Parque Santiago 3 you will find the attractive fishing port of Los Cristianos, where you can catch the Ferry to the nearby exotic island of La Gomera.
The beach promenade from Los Cristianos runs straight through Playa de las Américas to the Playa del Duque (Costa Adeje), leaving you with over 6 km of promenade to stroll and enjoy the sun.
There are several interesting beaches close by, Santa Cruz and Puerto de la Cruz have large salt water swimming pool complexes with sun bathing areas.
Tenerife has an excellent transport system. Car hire is available from either Los Rodeos (the north airport) or Reina Sofia (the airport in the south of the island) as well as from Playa de las Americas.
Playa de las Americas is a convenient and strategically well located place to serve as a base for exploring the island and its sights.
The famous waterpark Siam Park is only a 10 min drive away.
